Spoken word by Kurt Vonnegut from "Slaughterhouse-Five", originally published in 1969, during the height of the Vietnam war

"Slaughterhouse-Five, or The Children's Crusade: A Duty-Dance with Death" is a science fiction-infused anti-war novel by Kurt Vonnegut about the World War II experiences and journeys through time and space of Billy Pilgrim, from his time as an American soldier, and times with 4th dimensional space creatures from Tralfamador. He suffers from PTSD.

Kurt Vonnegut is one of my all time favorite authors. I read many of his books in college..Randomly, I opened up SH-5, and was dragged back in by the opening line: "All this happened, more or less." So I re-read the book, which influenced me to write the song
